Such a complex technique as bodylifting can significantly improve the contours of the body. The key to the normal course of the rehabilitation period is the strict implementation of the instructions received from the attending physician. So, if necessary, you need to constantly wear a special squeezing bandage. It is also necessary to limit physical activity and exclude the lifting of loads whose weight exceeds 3 kg. If desired, the patient can take walks, but it is not recommended to exercise, visit a bath, sauna, pool until the wounds are completely healed.
Like any serious operation, torsoplasty can lead to the development of a number of complications, which can be divided into the following types:
- general (thromboembolism, anemia and renal failure, which can be caused by the removal of too extensive tissue surfaces);
- local (disappearance of sensitivity in the areas of incisions, which is a consequence of rupture of nerve fibers, infection in the suture area, edema, necrosis, hematoma);
- aesthetic (ugly coarse scars under the buttocks, around the thighs, lower abdomen or groin, violation of the symmetry of the contours of the body).
The appearance after a circular body lift of noticeable scars and scars, which after 6-12 months become paler, is inevitable. If you follow the doctor's instructions and hygiene rules, the rest of the consequences of the operation may not appear at all.
