Thigh Lift
Hip lift is an operation to eliminate excessive thickness and sagging of tissues in the inner (outer) surface of the thighs in order to correct their contour. Surgical intervention helps to get rid of excess fat and flabby skin of the thighs in cases where physical exercises and massages are powerless. The operation can be combined with a buttock lift.
The essence of the operation is to move the skin-fat flaps with the excision of their excess. When the operation is done in the area of the "halife", the skin-fat flap is removed from the outside of the thigh. To eliminate the folds on the inner surface of the thigh, the incision is placed in the inguinal fold. It is possible to combine these techniques. At the end of the operation, the wounds are sutured with cosmetic sutures and special compression underwear is put on.
Hip lift is carried out in order to:
Examination before surgery: 1-3 days.
Duration of the operation: 2-4 hours (depending on the complexity of the operation). The patient is in the clinic on a hospital basis for 2-3 days.
Anesthesia: general anesthesia or local anesthesia in conjunction with sedatives.
Location of incisions: on the inside of the thigh and/or in the inguinal fold. When combined with a buttock lift, an additional incision may be located in the archery fold. Scars after the final maturation become hardly noticeable a few months after the operation.
Side effects: temporary bruising, swelling, decreased sensitivity, moderate soreness.
Risks: infectious complications, hematomas, long healing, seroma (accumulation of fluid under the skin), asymmetrical, strongly noticeable postoperative scars, uneven contours of the thighs, necrosis (necrosis) of tissues.
The result: long-term, provided that the body weight is maintained constantly.
*The effect, results, risks and recovery period depend on the characteristics of the body of each person individually.
The patient wears special compression underwear for 4-6 weeks after surgery to reduce the risk of complications. Stitches are removed on day 7-14.
Swelling, bruising and other side effects disappear within 1-2 months.
